The Livewell Center for Advocacy, Training and Education hosts a lot of services UW students can access. Here is a list of the services Livewell provides. These include Survivor Support and Advocacy for those who have experienced sexual assault and/or harassment, Student Care (holistic support for navigating academic/living environments, Alcohol & Other Drug consults for 1:1 staff meetings on information on alcohol/drug consumption, Peer Health Education were students are trained as educators to improve accessibility to UW health/wellness/educational resources, etc.

Stay active and have fun with UW Recreation! UW recre- ation has opportunities for all students including, the IMA (our campus gym), Intramural Sports, boat rentals, a golf range, fitness classes, and more!

- UW does not provide health insurance to domestic students (only to international and graduate employees). Here is more information on insurance and cost of UW healthcare and billing.
- If you are a student, to schedule an appointment as a new patient, call (206) 616-2495. Existing patients can log into MyChart.
Reproductive Healthcare:
- Free condoms/free emergency contraception/free birth control at pharmacies including Hall Health using insurance: Reproductive Parity Act (Washington state law since 2018)
- There is an Emergency Contraceptive vending machine on the first floor of the Odegaard Library to the right of the main entrance in the small vending machine/eating space!
- Stocks pregnancy tests that cost $7.10, non-generic Plan B that costs $12.60 instead of $40-50 because the School of Pharmacy gets it at cost, and other over the counter medicine: ibuprofen $2, Claritin $4.70, Pepto bismol $4, Benadryl $4.20, and acetaminophen $1.70
- NOTE: Plan B is not effective for people with a BMI over 35. You should use Ella instead but the emergency contraceptive vending machine does not stock Ella because it’s not available over the counter yet. You can get Ella through Hall Health and off campus pharmacies.
- Access to By George cafe closes by 6 pm without a Husky Card, but you can enter with a Husky Card or through Odegaard Library (also requires Husky Card access) until 9 pm
