3. Solid Ground
Solid Ground’s residential facilities provide emergency shelter, transitional and permanent housing, and comprehensive case management for families and individuals formerly experiencing homelessness.

Willows Youth Services Center is open, 24/7, to serve young adults, ages 18-24. Services include mail and laundry services, hot meals prepared in a commercial kitchen, snacks, housing navigation case management, and behavioral health and substance use services. Clients also have access to comfortable, semi-private sleeping pods.

6. DESC (Downtown Emergency Service Center)

- DESC opened its doors in 1979 as an emergency shelter, a place for vulnerable adults living with behavioral health disorders and chronic homelessness to come in out of the cold for the night. Today our mission is not merely to offer shelter, but to end the homelessness of our community's most vulnerable people, through an integrated array of clinical services and supportive housing that allows men and women to reclaim their lives and reach their highest potential.

- Since 1999, Cascade Women’s Program has provided a safe place to live and access to vital resources for homeless women in Seattle. The sobriety-intended program provides 32 units of transitional housing for women, along with case management and support from a skilled, compassionate staff. Residents may stay in the program for up to one year while working to overcome barriers to housing.

- Elizabeth Gregory Home (EGH) serves single homeless women in the greater Seattle area by providing transitional housing, a day center and case management services. Elizabeth Gregory Home provides a welcoming and respectful refuge where homeless and at-risk women have access to compassionate care.

- Moves families from shelter to permanent housing, minimizing the trauma of homelessness on parents and children. Rapid Re-Housing for Homeless Families (RRHF) is a pilot program in King County operated through Family Housing Connection. To minimize the trauma of homelessness on families living in shelter, this new service model focuses on moving families to permanent housing first, then providing services.
